Final Examination
Each student enrolled in a module must submit his final examination, electronically, to the CSCB within 90 days of receiving their user ID and password. A mark of no less than 65% on the final examination is required in order to pass. Students who do not pass the final examination will be given a second opportunity to write the examination. If they are not successful and wish to continue, they must re-enrol in the module.
Re-Enrolment
If re-enrolment takes place within two weeks of being advised of the results of the second examination, tuition will be one-half the posted amount. Students who have paid for more than one module at time of enrolment and who re-enrol in one of the modules may re-enrol at one-half the cost of a single module as long as they re-enrol within two weeks of being advised of the results of the second examination.
Withdrawals
Students wishing to withdraw from the course must notify the CSCB National Office in writing. There are no refunds for withdrawals.
Certificates
A letter is provided, electronically, as each module is successfully completed. A certificate is awarded after four modules have been successfully completed. Certificates are not provided after completion of subsequent modules.
CCS Designates
Designates who successfully complete a module will be awarded 20 points towards their CCS designation for the year in which they submit the final examination. Designates who re-enrol in a module they have already successfully completed will not be awarded points for completing the same module.
Communications
All correspondence with the student will be by email at the address provided by the student at time of enrolment. Any change in address must be communicated in writing to the CSCB.
It is essential that students notify the CSCB office immediately, in writing (fax or email is acceptable) of any change of mailing address or student name. Failure to do so may result in delays of marks, certificates, course material, or other important documents.
